Use AutoFill to Auto-complete Addresses

I’m sure there are a whole load of you out there who are reading this and will agree that you often get sick of having to type your name and address or other details into the computer over and over and over again.

Not anymore. Google Chrome has a feature called “AutoFill” which put simply allows you to store your name and address then use the Auto-Complete option to fill out those annoying forms.

To use this you must first activate it. As always you must click on the wrench or spanner in the top right of your Google Chrome Browser and select “options”.

This time you need to click on the “personal stuff” tab. You then check the box that says “enable AutoFill to fill out web forms in a single click”.

To add addresses to the AutoFill settings click on “manage AutoFill settings” then when the new window appears you can click on the button that reads “add new street addresses”.

It is as simple as that. Now the next time you are asked to fill out your details you will have the use of AutoFill.

You can actually store your credit card details in AutoFill but please consider the security risks involved if you choose this option. If your laptop or computer were to be stolen your credit card details would be stored on your computer so always make sure you password protect your computer to make it that little harder to access.
