The internet certainly has been responsible for some really bizarre inventions that have sprung up over the years and most of them seem to be associated with the adult entertainment market. I guess that is hardly much of a surprise.
One of the strangest and most bizarre that I have seen, especially recently, is this gadget which is called a Kiss Transmission Robot or to give the thing its proper title, the Kissinger.
Yes the thing really is as weird as it sounds. Basically what the Kissniger promises to do is take your IM video chat to a whole new level. If typing instant messages or talking via video chat to your lover is just not enough for you the Kissinger is the next big step. Waht you do is pick up the robot which is attached to your computer and start kissing it. The kiss is then transmitted over the internet to your lover who also has a Kissenger robot stuck to their lips. You get the idea and you can probably imagine where this really freaky technology is going to head next.
Personally I think you may be better looking into online dating.
