How to Create a Secure Password

Creating a good strong password for all of your online accounts is a very important matter. If you password is not to simple or easy to guess then it is only a matter of time before someone manages to guess or hack your password and then gain access to all of your online accounts which is a very real and serious problem.

By following these simple tips you will learn how to create a secure password and you should have no problems at all in creating your own secure and strong password so it makes the hackers job all that much harder.

Make sure that your password contains at least one special character such as @#$%^&.
Make sure your password contains at least 8 characters or more.
When creating your password make sure you do now use common words or names or common character combinations such as 123456 or qwerty.
An important part of a secure password is a random combination of upper case and lower case letters.
Never use the same password for more than one account.
Be very careful when choosing your security question. There is more than just you who knows your mothers maiden name or the first school that you went to.

If you are concerned about remembering your password when it consists special characters and numbers you may wish to opt for changing the a’s in your password to @ and other similar substitute.
