For some unknown reason we all seem to enjoy a good old fashioned conspiracy theory. Ranging from top secret alien visits that our governments keeps secret to Michael and LaToya Jackson been the same person, we love them all. Amazing the more strange and bizarre the more we get behind them.
The Assassination of Princess Diana
Most people can recall where they were when they heard about the death of Princess Diana in a tragic car accident. Dare we say it, but I am pretty sure certain members of the British royal family including Queen Elizabeth breathed a sigh of relief when it happened as they were spared the embarrassment of her marrying a Muslim man. The Muslim man being Dodi Fayed, her fiancée.
Despite Princess Diana’s death having all the signs of an accidental car crash as she tried to flee from paparazzi photographers there are still some people who believe that she was assassinated. Even Dodi Fayed’s father, Harrods boss Mohammad Al Fayed, has publically insisted that the British royal family, in particularly Prince Philip, were behind the accident.
Was Princess Diana’s romantic involvement with a Muslim man such an embarrassment for the British royal family that they took it upon themselves to have her assassinated? Do they really have the means to carry out such a crime and make it look like an accident?
KFC Meals Cause Sterility in Black Men
Kentucky Fried Chicken originated back in the 1950’s around the time when Ku Klux Klan were at the height of their powers. It was a widely assumed that most black folk survived on nothing but a diet of fried chicken whereas good decent white folk seldom touched the stuff.
It is believed (or at least rumoured) that Colonel Sanders, the guy who founded KFC, was actually a member of the KKK and had a hatred of all black people so he included a chemical in all of his chicken which rendered humans sterile.
Since it was only black people who were assumed to eat fried chicken on a regular basis it is rumoured that Colonel Sanders was aiming to make it impossible for African Americans to breed. Other people believe that chemical Colonel Sanders included in his chicken had no effect on white male but made black males infertile.
Nazis and UFO’s
Everyone knows that it was the German Nazis who first began experimenting with rocket technology. They did this long before the Russians or the Americans. While we know this as fact there are plenty of rumours circulating about the Nazis building UFO’s and even made it to the moon long before anyone else.
It is believed by some that when the Soviets were racing for Berlin they stumbled across a huge yet secret research facility where a flying saucer prototype was found. It is also claimed that a second flying saucer which was still under construction, using parts manufactured by German companies such as BMW, was also found. If this rumour were to be true it is easy to see how people would come to the conclusion that the Nazis were in the process of building a fully working replica of a crashed alien UFO.
The obvious question is “what happened to the UFO’s if they really existed?” As with all conspiracy theories there is an answer. It is suggested that these UFO’s were, after the war ended, transported to a secret base in Antarctica where they remain to this very day.
HAARP
There are plenty of conspiracy theories regarding top secret government research bases, most of which are involved in some kind of UFO cover-up. HAARP is a little different and located somewhere in Alaska.
We know that the HAARP research facility is supposedly intended to monitor the Earth’s ionosphere but many people believe that this is only half the story. Is the real purpose of HAARP to actually manipulate the ionosphere? If it is this is true it would theoretically give the US government the power to not only destroy incoming missiles but disrupt communications all over the globe.
What we do know for certain is that the HAARP research facility does exist and it is capable of “exciting” the ionosphere but according to reports this is done for research purposes only. The conspiracy theorists, however, do not think this is the whole story. They believe that the power of HAARP has actually been used to create earthquakes in parts of Asia by temporarily disrupting the magnetic field of the Earth. There was a presence of atmospheric disruption over China shortly after the 2009 earthquake and this is often cited as evidence of this. According to many people who have studied the facility there does appear to be plenty of evidence that the U.S. government funded the establishment of the HAARP research facility based on its potential as a weapon. The extent to which it has or could be used still remains a mystery.
Alien Life on Mars
The idea that life exists or has existed on Mars is certainly nothing new so you can imagine how disappointing it was when the first probes landed on the planet to reveal nothing more than dust and rocks. Luckily for alien fanatics there is still plenty of evidence to suggest that Mars is indeed home to alien life.
Firstly there is the strange rock formations on Mars located in an area named Cydonnia. In this area there are several pyramids which also sit along what is now known as the “face of Mars”. It is possible for these pyramids to form naturally but if they did form naturally this does not explain the geometric and unnatural construction. Of course this is by no means conclusive proof that a long lost civilization once thrived on Mars but the discovery of a huge abundance of pyramids, faces and other strange structures across the surface of Mars have raised plenty of eyebrows and fuelled the life on Mars conspiracy theories.
The first question any sceptic would ask is “what has NASA never directed any of its probes or rovers over any of these locations?” After all there is a huge public interest in these particular areas so funding such missions would not be a problem. Is it as all possible that NASA is well aware of life on Mars but is hiding the truth from the public?
The British sent a specially designed landing craft to Mars with the sole purpose of searching for life on the planet. Unfortunately the mission was short lived when the only part of the spacecraft to have been built in the United States (the parachute) failed as the craft descended to the surface. Was this part of a deliberate sabotage to keep the truth a secret?
Aliens that Visit Earth
Everyone has heard stories of the U.S. government’s involvement with top secret UFO flying saucers. During the 1950’s and 1960’s UFO sightings were commonplace and due to events such as Roswell a huge number of people believe that the U.S. government is secretly in contact with alien life and even helping them to experiment on human begins.
One of the most well-known top secret military bases in the world, Area 51, is widely believed to be housing a huge array of alien technology and the area around the base attracts people from all over the world desperate to catch a glimpse of a UFO.
No one knows for sure exactly what is going on in top secret bases such as Area 51 but is it possible that the U.S. government is hiding and covering up the biggest story and discovery in history? Have we already been visited by beings from another planet?
The World is About to End
Throughout human history there have been many tales about the end of the world. Not so long ago the world was gripped with fear that once the year 2000 hit everything from your computer to your toaster would go on a murderous rampage. The latest end of the world belief is based around the Mayan calendar and 2012. Is it at all possible that the Mayan’s had some insight that we do not? Were the Mayan’s well aware that they would be long gone by now and felt compelled to warn us of our impending doom.
If you are wondering what is expected to happen in December 2012, well, no one quite sure although some people are expecting the magnetic poles of the earth to shift, causing all sorts of atmospheric chaos. There is also a theory that the earth will collide with a planet or a star named Nabiru. Nabiru is purely fictional and there is no proof it even exists but this does not stop people believing that it is about to show up on a collision course with us.
Do the governments of the world already know about 2012 and the end of the world yet are keeping it secret from us to avoid mass panic?
The Moon Landing was Faked
The landing of man on the moon is probably one of the greatest achievements of mankind yet there are a growing number of people who claim that the moon landings were faked. They believe that the whole event was filmed in a special hanger located somewhere in Area 51. As proof of this conspiracy theorists claim that there were several sources of light on the photos we see of the astronauts and also claim that the flag waving would not have been possible in the vacuum of space.
You might well wonder why the U.S. government would go to such lengths to fake the moon landings, something that believers claim that it was all about winning the space race with the Russians. Back in 1969 the United States did not have the technology to fly to the moon but the Russians did so they faked the landings just to get one over on them. Seems a little extreme but who knows?
