3 Gadgets That Can Help You Sleep

We spend around one third of our lives asleep so this means that if you happen to live 75 years you are actually asleep for 25 of those years.

When you stop and realise the amazing amount of time that we spend asleep it makes perfect sense that we make the most of that time and get the best quality sleep possible.

Luckily there are some pretty good gadgets out there that can help us get a good night’s sleep.

The aXbo Alarm Clock.

The aXbo alarm clock is specially designed and manufactured by a German company.

The aXbo alarm clock requires you to wear a special sweat band so that is can monitor and measure all of your sleep patterns. Once the clock has monitored your sleeping patterns it then creates a special sleep routine for you that are supposed to be the best possible sleep pattern that your body is capable of. This means that the clock will wake you up at an exact time based off the measurements recorded.

The aXbo alarm clock is actually available as a couple’s alarm clock from axbo.com for $180.

SleepTracker Pro.

The SleepTracker Pro monitors your sleep through the use of an accelerometer located in a special watch. Once the SleepTracker pro has measured your sleep pattern you can then set a window of time when you wish to wake up. The SleepTracker then decides when the perfect time within that window is to wake you up.

The SleepTracker does not just wake you up like a normal alarm clock. The SleepTracker makes a point of not waking you up during your REM sleep cycle because by doing this you can wake up confused and still feeling tired. The SleepTracker wakes you up by reading signals from the special watch and waking you up gradually when it is sure you are no longer in your REM sleep cycle.

The SleepTrek 3.

If you are unfortunate enough to suffer from long term sleeping problems then the SleepTrek 3 could well be the answer to all of your prayers as it will analyse and identify the reasons behind your sleeping problems.

The SleepTrek 3 does all of this by measuring things like airflow, snoring, respiratory position, oxygen saturation and pulse rate.

The manufacturers of the SleepTrek 3 say that it brings the benefits of a professional sleep study to those people who would not normally have such access.

The only downside of this device is that it costs a whopping $4000 but that may be a small price if you have long term sleeping problems or insomnia.
